# Audio Direction

Sound design is integral to immersion, conveying the scale, power, and vulnerability of both Titans and pilots.

**Sound Design**

* **Mech Movement:**\
  Heavy footsteps, servos, and hydraulic whines emphasize weight and power.
* **Weapon Effects:**\
  Distinct audio profiles for each weapon type—thunderous cannon blasts, sizzling energy beams, metallic clangs.
* **Cockpit Ambience:**\
  Humming electronics, warning alarms, radio chatter, and environmental sounds create a lived-in feel.
* **Environmental Audio:**\
  Distant explosions, wind, rain, and undead moans enhance atmosphere.

**Music**

* **Dynamic Score:**\
  Adaptive music shifts based on gameplay—tense synths during exploration, orchestral swells in combat, somber melodies in narrative moments.
* **Faction Themes:**\
  Each faction has a unique musical motif, reinforcing identity and mood.
* **Community Collaboration:**\
  Plans for community-driven music contests and collaborations post-launch.
