### Grid specification and scale

* **Grid size:** 6×6 cells (A–F by 1–6) for clean mission routing and content pacing.
* **Cell scale:** 1 cell ≈ 1–2 km playable space (tunable). Larger regions span multiple cells to support tiered objectives, traversal, and escalating encounters.
* **Boundaries:** Outer ring cells represent unstable fringe with heavier Drift interference and late-game unlocks.
