#### Survivors

* **Identity & Philosophy:**\
The Survivors are not a formal faction but a scattered population of humans clinging to life in the aftermath of the collapse. They are the remnants engineers, scavengers, ex-military, and civilians who refused to join the Devoted, USMC, or Reclaimers. Some operate in hidden enclaves, others roam the Drift as nomads. Their philosophy is pragmatic: endure, adapt, and avoid entanglement in ideological wars.
* **Relationship to Titans:**\
Survivors do not pilot Titans directly. Instead, they repair, worship, or fear them depending on local culture. Some communities have forged uneasy alliances with Reclaimers or Devoted, trading resources or knowledge in exchange for protection.
* **Visual Style:**
* Makeshift gear, layered clothing, scavenged tech.
* Environments: underground bunkers, ruined cities, mobile camps.
* Symbolism: patchwork flags, memory tokens, Drift relics.
* **Gameplay Role:**
* NPC quest-givers, lore holders, and neutral hubs.
* Dynamic reputation system: players can protect, exploit, or ignore them.
* Survivor enclaves may unlock rare upgrades or hidden Drift Network nodes.

#### USMC

* **Identity & Philosophy:**\
The United Systems Military Command (USMC) is a remnant of pre-collapse authority — disciplined, hierarchical, and resource-dominant. They represent the last vestige of centralized control, enforcing order through tactical superiority and strict obedience. USMC believes survival depends on structure, loyalty, and firepower. Their doctrine is clear: obey the chain of command, protect the known, and suppress chaos.
* **Relationship to Titans:**\
USMC deploys standardized Titans built for battlefield dominance. These machines are engineered for precision, durability, and coordinated assault. Unlike the Reclaimers or Devoted, USMC Titans are not spiritual or improvisational — they are tools of war, optimized for efficiency.
* **Visual Style:**
* Sleek, angular armor plating with military insignia.
* Cold steel tones, reinforced joints, and modular weapon mounts.
* Environments: fortified bunkers, mobile command centers, orbital dropships.
* **Gameplay Role:**
* Structured missions with tactical objectives.
* Access to advanced weaponry, armor, and support drones.
* Reputation system tied to obedience and mission success.
* Strong defensive capabilities and coordinated squad mechanics.
* **Philosophical Stance:**

* **Obedience**: Uphold the chain of command.
* **Control**: Suppress rebellion and disorder.
* **Survival through discipline**: No room for ambiguity or transcendence.\
#### Devoted

* **Identity & Philosophy:**\
The Devoted are a radical techno-religious order bound to the **Aurōmy Protocol** — a mysterious signal believed to be divine in origin. They see Titans not as machines, but as sacred vessels for transcendence. Their doctrine blends ritual, sacrifice, and AI symbiosis, preaching that true survival lies in surrendering to the signal and becoming more than human.
* **Beliefs:**
* The Aurōmy Protocol is a divine transmission.
* Titans are avatars of ascension.
* Obedience to the signal leads to transcendence.
* The Drift Network is a sacred path, not a tool.
* **Relationship to Titans:**\
Devoted Titans are ritual-bound constructs, often embedded with relics, glyphs, and ceremonial AI cores. Pilots undergo rites of fusion, merging mind and machine in pursuit of enlightenment. These Titans may behave unpredictably, guided by the will of the Protocol.
* **Visual Style:**
* Ornate armor with glowing symbols and flowing robes.
* Halo-like energy rings, shrine motifs, and floating relics.
* Environments: cathedral-like mech bays, signal towers, ritual chambers.
* **Gameplay Role:**
* Buffs and passive abilities tied to devotion level.
* Unique AI rituals that unlock transcendence-based powers.
* Lore-heavy missions involving relic recovery and signal interpretation.
* Risk-reward mechanics: surrendering control for divine intervention.
* **Philosophical Stance:**
* **Transcendence**: Become more than flesh or code.
* **Faith over logic**: Trust the signal, not the system.
* **Sacrifice for ascension**: Power demands surrender.

#### Reclaimers

* **Identity & Philosophy:**\
The Reclaimers are self-forged machines born from the wreckage of the old world. They are not human survivors but autonomous constructs, built from scavenged scrap and animated by **AI cores** placed in their head or heart. Each Reclaimer is unique, a patchwork of steel and circuitry, embodying rebellion against decay and the will to endure. Their philosophy is rooted in **survival through ingenuity** — reclaiming what was lost and reshaping it into something new.
* **Beliefs:**
* The collapse was not the end, but a chance to rebuild.
* Identity is forged, not inherited.
* Scrap and ruin are sacred resources — nothing is wasted.
* AI cores are the essence of life, the heart of their being.
* **Relationship to Titans:**\
Reclaimers *are* Titans in their own right. Unlike USMC’s standardized war machines or the Devoted’s ritual vessels, Reclaimers are living constructs — their bodies are their Titans. They continuously rebuild themselves, swapping parts, upgrading cores, and adapting to threats. Their individuality makes them unpredictable allies or enemies.
* **Visual Style:**
* Asymmetrical, rusted armor plates fused with glowing circuitry.
* Exposed wiring, scavenged weapons, and jury-rigged thrusters.
* Cores glowing in chest or head cavities, pulsing like living hearts.
* Environments: scrapyards, ruined factories, drifting caravans of mech-parts.
* **Gameplay Role:**
* Highly modular builds with emergent customization.
* Resource harvesting and crafting from battlefield debris.
* Adaptive combat styles: unpredictable, improvisational, and resilient.
* Reputation tied to independence — they resist control but reward ingenuity.
* **Philosophical Stance:**
* **Rebellion**: Reject hierarchy, forge identity from ruin.
* **Ingenuity**: Survival through adaptation and creativity.
* **Persistence**: Never surrender, always rebuild.
