# The Lost

\
The MNEM-01 was never designed for war — it was built to remember.
\
Originally a [USMC](/titan-force-docs/lore/factions/usmc.md) support chassis used for battlefield salvage and data recovery, it was repurposed by the [Reclaimers](/titan-force-docs/lore/factions/reclaimers.md) into a walking archive. Its limbs are reinforced not for combat, but for delicate extraction of corrupted [AI cores](/titan-force-docs/lore/technology/ai-cores.md). Its back houses a vaulted memory chamber, lined with resonance shielding and drift stabilizers.<br>

Legacy & Cultural Impact
\
\
• Lore Carrier:
\
MNEM-01 units are revered as pilgrims of memory, often deployed into drift-saturated ruins to recover lost histories. Some carry dozens of cores, each whispering fragments of forgotten wars, broken oaths, and extinct protocols.
\
\
• Nonviolence Doctrine:
\
Reclaimer mechs rarely engage in combat. Instead, they deploy defensive drones, EM shields, and holographic decoys to avoid confrontation. Their survival is seen as a moral imperative — they are the last librarians of a dying world.
\
\
• Symbol of Continuity:
\
The Archivist Frame has become a symbol of resistance against oblivion. Reclaimer settlements often feature statues of MNEM-01 units, their arms outstretched as if offering memory to the sky.\
